I was referring to purchases I make at bankruptcy auctions where you post
your bond, and physically attend or work through proxy. E-bay is were you
sell the stuff bought at these auctions. If you can get to one of these
auctions you can find some great deals. Just make sure of the lot count
before you bid. You may think you are bidding on one or two and than have a
coronary when you pay and find the single bid was for a lot of 200 units.
Also remember to sit on your hands and do not scratch any itches when you
are in the auction. I have a friend who ended up with 500 COm21 cable modems
because of his sinus's :>)

Time to show my naiveti, are you taking about auction sites besides e-bay?
For the most part I've found prices from used dealers to be about what I see
on the e-bay auctions without the two week delay to see if I'm the high
bidder. In addition, the whole damn "minimum bid" thing is a pain. Anyway,
if there are better places to pick up gear, I would love to hear about them.
In the mean time I've been buying stuff from Brad at optsys.com - his prices
are good, the stuff gets here in good shape, and since he's right next to
the guy who runs CCbootcamp, he knows what I'm looking for...

Let me know...

By the way - Hey Circusnuts, the AGS+ is working great. Thanks again...

Boy.....
I feel like a thief.....
I better call the auction house rep and give him more money from last week's
auction I was at were I picked up among other goodies:

3 2924M at $300 each
2 Sun Ultra 5 $700
1 Cat4000 with (2)X4148-RJ & X4012 for $800
3 2611 $600 each
2 2612 $400 each

The last two Silly.com Valley auctions I was at they were pulling stuff
because of the low bids.

With these prices- your friend & his fellow company members are in for a
rude awakening when the auctioneer informs them of realistic street prices
:-0

Thanks for giving us first offer Mitch
