I think the Pix/vpn etc. should be beyond the scope of the CCIE as well. A
security expert is a position in itself.

To me, the only thing that looked a little out line was the programming
stuff.

However, I believe that anyone that calls hermself ( :-) a CCIE should
be able to do the rest, at least with several years of experience. Most
of the stuff would be satisfied in the natural course of CCIE
experience, I would hope.

They need the right person and will pay 200K for herm.
That's a lot of money (at least here, in lil' ol' Gawga :)

You guys are obviously not the right person ;>) , but when I have 5+
years CCIE experience I would hope to be able to meet those criteria
because of my Unix and programming background.

Call it serendipity -- or just a wise choice of change in career
direction :)

BTW, I'm sure that someone with more than 5 years experience as a CCIE
will be considered ;>)

Maybe I'm way off base, though.
Maybe CCIEs longer than 5 years expect to get paid more than that.

I *would* be interested in a serious answer to that question, although I
think that most of the CCIEs listen on that *other* list :)

C'mon guys this is a joke right. You took like three job postings and
made them one,
right.. If a guy like this exists I may have to kiss his feet. I don't
think my religous
beliefs would allow that however.

Mike Linehan
Whatever certs I have I'm not even close to this guy. Whoever he is.
