Hello,

It sounds like you will be dealing with a regular 6500 with either a Sup1
or Sup2 that runs the usual CatOS like the Cat5k so nothing new there,
then you will get to deal with the MSFC daughter card that sits on the
Supervisor module. The MSFC does the Layer 3 stuff and that runs your
standard IOS, like the RSM for the Cat5k's. To get into the MSFC(the
router part) from the CatOS just type "session 15"(if the supervisor is in
the first slot)"session 16"(if the supervisor is in the second slot) and
off you go...
