You can pass the test using the Cisco Press book ICND as Brett states below.
I also used Lammle's study guide.  I felt between these two resources, I was
very well prepared for the test.  I also had the benefit of having some
light router access although not a lot of heavy configuration experience.
If you are able to get any hands on, it will make taking the test easier.
But my thoughts are that the CCNA is mainly a rote memorization test so it
is possible to pass without any hands on at all.  

Just my thoughts on it!   Good luck on your exam.

I studied from the CISCO PRESS - Interconnection Cisco Network Devices
640-507. I also received the Cramsession question of the day. That is
sufficient to pass.
