Hmmm. Now I have read a bit more on CCO, and I have discovered a few
situations where the local pool addresses and the virtual template addresses
are not on the same subnet. For example,
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/cisintwk/intsolns/ipsec.htm#xtocid15
77625
here, unnumbered is referencing FastEthernet3/0 which is in a different
subnet compared to the local pool addresses (ISP3Pool).

So, anybody know what is up with that? Does this mean that I can choose
whatever I feel like choosing for addresses in the 'unnumbered' or the local
pool?
