Maybe between to buildings, but I would not think between two coastal cities. If I recall, the wireless solution I saw when working with the government cost out around $250,000 per month for 50 Meg link. Apples to oranges I know, but even if it were to cost a 10th or 20th... the sum would be outrageous for T1 or Frame.
