HI gang, In a new company now, a software company !!!!!! Any way, we are
telehousing a network in Intels racks here in Sydney. Intel have stated that
they will provide a layer 2-3 switch, which will encompass all our load
balancing needs for the application servers here. HOWEVER, the boss has
stressed that he wants to put another switch (crap one) between the servers
and the switch intel is providing. My question is, will the load balancing
setup on the alteon switch ( i think it is a 780 by memory) need to be
configured to pass frames on to the switch we implement or will it know how
to
pass the frames on to the correct nodes via the mac tables in both switch's.
