Hai,

Text displays the menu options and the line no has to match with command
line nos. Make sure that you give way out from the menu loop by using
"menu-exit" command.

menu robert text 1 config
menu robert text 2 int-e0
menu robert text 3 shut
menu robert text 4 Exit
menu robert command 1 config terminal
menu robert command 2 interface ethernet 0/0
menu robert command 3 shut
menu robert command 4 menu-exit

Hope this helps

Regards
Sakthi

Subject:Menus

Hi,

Does anyone know how to configure a menu such that by pressing key 1 it will
do various commands i.e.

menu robert text 1 Press key 1 to shut ehternet interface down
menu robert command 1 conf t

then when you put in more menu robert command 1 they just overwrite each
other.

What I need to do is
menu robert command 1 config terminal
menu robert command 1 interface ethernet 0/0
menu robert command 1 shut
menu robert command 1 exit

BUT the only command which is showing is the last menu robert command 1
exit.

I have tried to do menu robert command 1 conf t int e0/0 shut exit

but of course it errors as expected saying that there is no more commands
after conf t i.e. when you normally type the command in.

Any help much appreciated.
