Hi~
I have a quick question for VLAN.
I'm using the Catalyst 2948G-L3 and separated into 2 VLANS.
One VLAN have various kinds of Servers and the other VLAN have some users.
Problem we undergoes is as follows;
Production Management Server (based on NT) and Human-Resource Server (based
on Novell)
are located in VLAN1. But VLAN2 (Windows 95) users cannot access to these
servers.
But VLAN2 (Windows 98) users can access via IP Address Input.
I want to know that why different VLAN users cannot access to these
Servers.
I think MS protocol and IPX is not broadcated to another VLAN region.
And users can access to this via naming. But after change, they cannot
access through Server name.
If you knows these things, Can you give me the solution?
