Hi,
I am writing this from work instead of lurking at home but.. I would
like to have some suggestions for a good cisco switch for a lab
environment. Here are the requirements:
what we need is cisco's cheapest switch that supports:
IP Versions 4 und 6
IEEE 802.1d - Quality of Service
IEEE 802.1p - Priority Tagging
IEEE 802.1q - VLAN Tagging
IEEE 802.3ab - 1000Base-TX over Category 5 UTP copper cable.
IEEE 802.3u - Fast Ethernet including Autonegotiation (100Mbit/s)
IEEE 802.3z - 1000Base-SX over Fiber
IEEE 802.3x - Ethernet Flow Control (sender and receiver side)
IEEE 802.3ad Link Aggregation
IEEE 802.3u FastEthernet
If any one has any suggestions or can point me in the right direction to
do some further research, please let me know. Thanks in advance
