Has the telco run a stress test from end to end? i.e. From Smartjack to
Smartjack.
If so, are they reporting that the line is clean?
If you suspect the Smartjack, then tell the telco to unloop it. You put a
RJ-45 plug made into a loopback in the customer interface of the Smartjack.
If the trouble occurs then suspect the Smartjack.
If the telco can't see your loop, then he's testing the wrong circuit.
Consider making a loopback RJ-45 jack to test the wire from the Smartjack to
the CSU/DSU.
Do you have a spare CSU/DSU?
