The 2901 is the same device, it just has less shelves.  @ the time I
purchased my 5000 it was cheaper to take that route.  Generally- the 5002's
& 2901's are more expensive on Ebay, because they are more compact & usually
come outfitted.  The 5000's are almost always parted out unless you for some
strange reason want Telco style 10BaseT interfaces :o)
