the very weird thing here is at RTS DTS etc are all up.... both devices are on a /30 subnet no problems here. I do not need any routing because these are directly connected networks. NO crc errors on link flap/ interface resets!! Have you tried swapping out your local Serial cable ? What about 'sh int serial xxx' to check your pins ?
