What IOS are you using? There is a bug in some versions of 12.1 that
require you to set the source interface for logging purposes before
logging will actually take place. There is another bug with logging
synchronous that interupts logging but I can't remember the details.
There yet another bug in 12.2 that causes the router to stop logging
after a short while. So far they haven't fixed that one.

Hello,
I have a syslog server and I turned on some debugs on
a Cisco router. But the syslog server didn't get any
debug information. Do I need to do anything on syslog
server or router? Thanks in advance.
