1. Pass the CCIE Written exam first
2. Good luck gettting a date for the next month - unless someone drops and
you live near a testing center, you're looking at early October (after the
one-day labs begin)
3. Assuming you're serious, if you have extensive experience with Cisco
routers or are at the genius level in IQ or some young hotshot, check the
CCIE website for what to study and a list of suggested reading - go to
www.cisco.com and search for CCIE recommended reading. Lots of books and
lots of free stuff. There are also practice labs and lab study guides -
search the web for CCIE Lab and search amazon.com for CCIE
My lab is scheduled for 1/11/02, and I'm not sure I'll even be ready by
then.....but my best wishes for good luck to you.
