You can configure IRB on an MSFC, but VLAN interfaces are basically BVI's. You will not be able to configure a BVI interface. You configure your bridge group on each vlan interface and bridge the traffic you don't want to route. I have a customer that is routing IP on 6 vlans, while bridging DecNet until they can get rid of it.
