Hi, Can I make a network topology like this :
---- router1 ------- router2 --------------------------- router3 ------- router4 ------ F/C ATM Serial ATM F/C router 1 and router 4 are actually CNT gateway which convert F/C packet to ATM cell. router 2 and router 3 are Cisco7500 which has one PA-A3 ATM adpter at one side connected to CNT gateway and are connected with each other via HDLC(or PPP, F/R whatever it is) at the other side. My question is that whether the cells which arrived at router2(7500)'s ATM interface after converted from F/C packets to ATM cell at router1(CNT gateway) can pass through Serial line. we cannot use IP and ATM Switch. Is there any software simulator needed at router2 and router3 to succeed? Any comments are welcomed Thanks BS Kang.
