I currently have Version 12.1(8a)E4, running on my 6509. I have had no problems, except for a little bit of a headache in the intial config, setting up the vlans, and such(the vlan has to be avtive in a database, before using). We opted for the native so that we can run SLB on the switch as well, and totally remove the LD416's which were handling the load balancing. So far so good, no unexpected reboots, or things of the such, pretty stable as of yet.
