Interesting, but why is the word palindrome non-palindromic?
When I calculate 42 in Binary I get:
128     64      32      16      8       4       2       1
0       0       1       0       1       0       1       0

 0  0  1  0  1  0  1  0   = 42 Decimal
 0  1  0  1  0  1  0  0   = reversed order of 42 Decimal.

Curiously, I find no palindrome in 42.
