do u have to recertify on the written after 3 yrs? i passed the written in 1/2000 & since then, i've attempted the lab 4x...i'm going to attempt the lab as many times as i can before the written recertification (in 1/2003), after that, sad to say but i'm planning to give up...it just ain't worth it

Now that the written costs $300 US, taking the written 8 times would cost $2400, and taking the lab eight times would cost over 9 grand. That's a lot of beer money to go donating to Cisco...
