I use Etherpeek to capture Ethernet packets and analyze them. The same company has a similar product "Tokenpeek" that can capture Token rings packets. Data for both are captured by connecting to the Ether or Token switch.
My question is: How do you capture the packets on a serial line? What software do you use and where do you physically connect?
