Ditto George, I've used an Adtran T3SU and a 720x router with a HSSI card
and it works like a champ.  The Adtran unit comes with a HSSI port out of
the box.  If your carrier supplies you with standard coaxial connectors,
you're good to go.  You could also put a DS3 into a 3600.  However, I've
been told by Cisco SEs that if you use a 3600, you should load it up with
memory and not terminate anymore circuits into that router.

Just for an example, our 7204 has a HSSI and we are using the Adtran 
unit to our ISP. We keep an extra of both boxes for backup....
