What does a 1601 need to support compressed images? PCMCIA flash cards cost more than the 1601 box. It should be very intresting to use an image like "c1600-sy-mz.12.1-1" that needs 4MB flash, that's usually the amount of flash that the 1601 already have.
The DRAM requirements are not higher if an -mz. image will be used? The Feature Navigator tool has a "N. A" in the DRAM requirements...
