Also if I assign different subnet ip addresses to async interfaces how can they ping each other. example ny 151.11.20.5 albany 132.14.15.16. same as ip unnumbered eth or loopback. But I dont understand they are not in the same subnet but because of async connection they can ping. Any explanation for this?
