Hmm..   I cleared my CCIE(written)  in second attempt in Spetember without
having  the nearest  CCIE about 300  km away from me .
     I dont know about which valley are you talking about , but I am staying
in one of the most backward places as far as IT is concerned
  I am staying  in  North western India  ie  the state of Rajasthan, where
the literacy ratio is one of the lowest in the world .
   Despite the constraints  I have managed to attain CCNP , CCDP and just
cleared the written as well . I am on my way to setting up the practice
labs out here , it is a state where most of the  qualified people have not
even heard of what routers are , forget about there functionalities.
