Joaquim, I noticed a few months ago with 3548's straight out of the box, they automatically went to DHCP server for IP address and hostname was auto-configured. Confused me at first, and I remember wondering what real use it would be. I think at the time the only thing I looked up was how to stop it. What switches are you using and what do you want to achieve?
