I hear Black Ice is a pretty good product (or @ least our CheckPoint
rep. says so), but I have been using the Symantec (Norton) Internet
Security with software firewall and live update virus scanning and it's
been reasonably righteous here @ the house and in the laptop I carry to
customer sites.

All the best !!!
Phil

Subject: RE: Firewall [7:32955]

I started out in the business installing cable modems in peoples homes.
I
can say that the most popular software program out there for firewall
was
Black Ice Defender. If you want to get a decent hardware solution
Linksys
makes some very affordable Cable router/firewall combos that do NAT.

Hope that helps.
