Sorry to spoil the party but I've had a problem with IOS on 6Ks. With version 12.1(3a)E4, using the console port would put the switch into rommon mode, the switch would keep running but you couldn't config it, it's a recognised bug I think. Apart from that though I think it simplifies things by having just the one set of commands and will be upgrading the Cat OS 6Ks to IOS
