for some reason, the Lab proctors frown on people installing their own software on their terminals. ;->
I've been told that they frown on people even saving things like their notepad files to the computers in the lab. I don't recall any instruction one way or another on this one. I do vaguely recall one proctor saying that if somehow you hack your way to the internet, and they catch you, you will be disqualified immediately.
