IBM sold all of their networking product lines to Cisco when they formed the Alliance. (http://www-1.ibm.com/services/alliances/cisco/index.html ). IBM sells a great deal of Cisco equipment. IBM sells other lines as well, but like the rest of the world, Cisco is the #1 line.
I don't know where Cisco buys their chips and processors from.
