As a general rule, its best to stick with telling people what you know works - not what you *think* won't. So take this for what little it is worth: If you are talking about a public FR network, beware the jitter. When ATM was emerging, I seem to recall a lot of folks touting the fact that it would solve some of the variable delay implications of - you guessed it - frame relay for applications such as video. And of course, video is sensitive to that. But I have no tangible experience with the matter.
