>From the top of my head the cisco party line on this is to use the as5300 as a LAC for a 7200/7400/... LNS which would do the MPLS encaps.
Then again there has been a lot of standards work on making the LNS/LAC communication over MPLS. There's my two cents for what it's worth. But these developing features really require research given your individual requirements.
