do you have an icon for the pcm card in the desk top tray ?
If so, install an iP address and see if you can ping yourself
thru the card...

Assuming you are talking about a PC card in a laptop, WIN2000 should not
have a problem with the adapter. The message about no link is an indication
the SSID and/or encryption are not configured the same as the access point.

I have a aironet wireless 340 card and im running windows 2000 i installed
the drivers and everything and it show the device however i wont pick an ip
address says that cable no attached when i do a ipconfig
has anyone had this problem
