To upgrade the Pro you have to get a "cookiebuster" IOS . There was a special IOS that came out for that series and it stops people upgrading to IOS outside that stream. The cookie buster IOS was is usually a few meg that once installed breaks the upgade blocks. I have not had to use it for about 3 years so not sure where on the cisco site it is, The TAC should be able to point you in the right direction.
