I'm assuming that you have something like a TLS-5. TLS = Telephone Line Simulator. It substitutes for the Telephone Central Office. You will want to connect a modem to your aux port and then connect the telco side of the modem to the TLS. To do anything meaningful you'll need a second modem and a second router. CCO should have several sample configs.
