Zahid,

The 'show interface' command would show the actual going through the
interface.

You probably are after the 'show interface xxxx rate-limit' command
instead [shown here on 12.2(7a)]:

milliways#show int f0/0.102 rate-limit
FastEthernet0/0.102
  Input
    matches: all traffic
params: 128000 bps, 24000 limit, 32000 extended limit
conformed 200597 packets, 36550102 bytes; action: transmit
exceeded 616 packets, 895075 bytes; action: drop
last packet: 59244ms ago, current burst: 7483 bytes
last cleared 2w6d ago, conformed 0 bps, exceeded 0 bps
  Output
    matches: all traffic
params: 128000 bps, 24000 limit, 32000 extended limit
conformed 220716 packets, 103342492 bytes; action: transmit
exceeded 7757 packets, 11884318 bytes; action: drop
last packet: 59168ms ago, current burst: 0 bytes
last cleared 2w6d ago, conformed 0 bps, exceeded 0 bps
