Okay, I was able to make my ATM configuration work, but I had to map IDENTICAL vpi/vci numbers on each router end. For example, on the L1010, from interface atm12/0/0, I had to input "atm pvc 5 200 int a12/0/2 5 200". Then on the routers, I had to configure the same pvc numbers. This way, I was able to ping each end. Now, I'm wondering why I had to do this. Can't I configure a different vci value? My stick network drawing is as follows: R1----atm----L1010----atm----R2 Again, I was able to make it work, but I'm wondering why I can't vary the vci values on each router. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks, Eddie
