In a network where FE/GE are used as direct connects between routers (with a /30 mask), is there any issue from a network or OSPF perspective if
- one numbers these links with a /31 network in order to save two IPs per link. - one uses the ip ospf network point-to-point command remove the need for the DR router to generate a corresponding type 2 LSA? Can anyone think of any issues this might cause?
