I got my CSS1 back in May, I chose to take IDSPM. I used the Cisco Press book CSIDS, and an eval copy of Cisco Secure Policy Manager. I honestly do not know how much longer the CSIDS exam will be available, I'd suggest filling out an online customer service request form and asking Cisco:
