Robert, Whenever that happens I'll be more than willing to take that trash off your hands :-)
On a more serious note, if cisco did take the 25xx models out of the lab, which will happen in the near future it will be no different from the removal of "token ring" from the lab. Although the lab must undergo many changes in order to remain effective, in keeping pace with the growing changes in technology and at the same time continually stride maintain the credibility of the process itself. The equipment that you may have on hand now will most likely perform as it has always done. The key point here that the a router 2500( 2502, 2501, etc..) will still provide the best environment in which one can implement, monitor, and correlate the underlying concepts which we refer to as routing. The changes in equipment will affect specific requirements as it applies to the newer technologies and features which changes at a rapid pace. Nonetheless, all of these requirements will still depend on the basic principle and greater understanding of "routing". This we can be assure of will likely not change... unless cisco plans on calling the exam something other than "Routing & Switching" Nigel ----- Original Message ----- From: "Robert D.
