I'm sorry Larry if I've caused any confusion but I only have a single 6509 with two supervisor 1 blades with msfc 2 in slots 1 and 2.
Clay, I began to read the URL you posted and noticed in the second paragraph it states, "This paper is based on the hybrid software model for the Cat6500 Series...and not the Cisco IOS running natively." With that said please note the native IOS places these commands into the startup config by default; also I haven't been able to change these commands thus far: ! redundancy main-cpu auto-sync standard ! Jagan, I'm glad I'm not the only one!
