The two switches are similar in command appearance, but way different in
terms of functionality. Even a quick look at the documentation as found on
CCO should tell you that.

yes you will need eye time with the docs and finger time with the 3550
itself. There are far too many things different that you will be responsible
for.

I've written extensively about the 3550 on this list. another reason why
everyone really should read my posts religiously.
