Is there anyway to simulate POTS without an Adtran and more specifically on any Cisco equipment? I have alot of cisco equip available to me, including various FXS voice modules, and need a work-around,if possible, w/o purchasing a 550. (FXS will provide a dial tone, won't it?) No only do I need to work with modem-to-modem connections, I need to simulate Pots to dial into an AS5300 from a workstation. Any suggestions or is it just flat out impossible?
