As a follow-up to my original post, a reboot reinstalled the default routes. As a word of caution, you might not want to use "flash:/c2500-jk8os-l.122-1b.bin" image as I've encountered too many strange results with it. Getting ready to swap it with a 12.1.xyz as I'm tired of wasting my time troubleshooting IOS "features". Thank goodness for the 1-day lab format ;-$ And yes, "ip sum eigrp 1 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0" does work. Elmer
