I know that for myself, anything that changed from the older Cisco Press
books were able to be found on CCO. I used CCO for studying for the CIT.
I found the Cisco Press book completely online and was the resource I
used to pass well on the first try.

I can't speak for all four, but I know I passed the switching exam using
the 5xx series books.  The routing exam has added IS-IS, which is not
covered in the 5xx series books, so you may want to add that to your
studying.  I'm not sure about BCRAN and CIT.
