I am new to working with the 3550-24, I upgraded to the EMI layer 3. That worked fine, I used a TAR file and did an overwrite. What I want to do is make a router from 192.168.1.x to 192.168.0.x to connect 2 networks. The problem is when I put in the subnet mask on the 192.168.0.x its giving me the error, "invalid subnet". I tried 255.255.255.0 and 255.255.0.0 with no luck. I am using the 800 pages Cisco configuration guide, and I just ordered the Field Manual for Cat switches from Cisco Press. Thanks!
