Your e-mail has fedex in the domain name. Aren't there some networking experts at FedEx that you can get help from? Or you could hire a consultant? We can't tell you how to configure your router unless you tell us what you want it to do. It's a little like those people that always ask us IT types "What computer should I buy?" only even more complex. It sounds like your biggest concern is security. In a previous message I pointed you to the Cisco IOS Security Config Guide and documentation about Cisco's Security Architecture (SAFE). You really do have to read those to understand how to configure your router. Also, there are many books. I just started reading a new book that is quite well written and not as detailed as some. It might be good for a beginner. It's called: "Inside Network Perimeter Security: The Definitive Guide to Firewalls, Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), Routers, and Intrusion Detection Systems" by Stephen Northcutt, Lenny Zeltser, Scott Winters, Karen Fredrick, Ronald W. Ritchey. By the way, there are probably many people on this list you could hire as a consultant? Where are you located?
