How far apart are the antennas? What antennas are you using? Is there any
sheet metal
in the area? ie building sides, a parking lot full of cars you're shooting
over, etc.
What sort of feed cable did you use? How long is the bridge to antenna run?

Lost association means a lost beacon. You can tune 350 series workgroup
bridges so
they never disassociate and I'd suspect the same config is possible with a
full bridge,
but I've never tried it - look for 'parent' and set it to the MAC address of
the root
bridge and it might just fix your problem.

Be aware that Aironet has a *shitty* history on the 35x series - I've
RMA'd something
like ten AP35x ... the radio cards just drop to 1mw of output and never
recover ... its
a thermal thing.

Pictures of the antennas and the path between buildings would help, along
with stats
from the radios. Are you seeing a lot of FCS errors? If you've got
reflectors in the
area, and you've got the juice cranked for a shot across a parking lot, and
you're
using a wide angle antenna, you could very well have some multipath issue ...

Use 11.21 code, avoid 12.0T as it is experimental. The systems I have with
11.21 are
well behaved, the ones with 11.07 are not, and I avoid experimental stuff
unless I
absolutely must have some feature that isn't in the mainline code yet.

802.11b is CSMA/CA - if you've got neighbors using the same channel as
your system
you can turn on RTS/CTS and set a low threshold - when *any* 802.11b device
sees a
frame with a network allocation vector it will honor it - its not SSID
dependent.

That is *deep* 802.11b and if you've really got trouble like that, maybe
we ought to
talk in person :-)
