Thanks everyone for the replies but I have it working now but what gets me I have no clue what did it. I took all of the logging info that was posted in my original email off of the pix and put it back on after doing so it started working.
Usman I am not using the pfss software from Cisco I am using a real syslog server on a Freebsd box.
