Dave,

I hoped that Cisco had changed its mind on IS-IS.  But I just went to the
feature navigator and the 1700 isn't in the "Platform Family" drop-down list
for the feature "IS-IS."  The TAC rep was quite admant on the matter.  I
guess you could make a case against the 1700 ever being used in a "real"
IS-IS environment, but not much stronger than one against BGP.
